Aster Hospital, Mankhool
In 2025 Design Matter refurbished all 96,000 sqft of Aster Hospital Mankhool. The hospital opened ten years earlier and was the first one Aster built.
The new interiors are softer and warmer, and bring the building up to the standard Aster now has internationally.

Anti Aging Skin Clinic
A dermatology and aesthetics clinic in Abu Dhabi, opened in 2024. The client wanted a calm, high-end setting for cosmetic treatments.

GJ Properties Investments HQ
GJ Properties’ sales centre and office in Ajman mixes traditional local details with modern furniture and finishes.
It is where buyers first meet the company and see its plans for new housing in the city.

ABRA VMSD, HQ
ABRA VMSD builds displays and fit-outs for luxury retail brands. Its headquarters is in Dubai’s media manufacturing district. The company has been running for more than 33 years and has completed over 6,500 projects.
A younger generation of the founding family now runs the business. The new HQ houses its design team and some of its 450 craftsmen.

In 2024 and 2025 Design Matter designed 10 residential tower complexes for GJ Real Estate, about 495,750 sqm in total.
The brief was to make the towers feel more contemporary and international than most residential buildings in Ajman.
Customer satisfaction went up afterwards, and so did unit sales and rental rates.
Three more towers are in design.

Biltmore Residences, Sufouh
GJ Properties brought Design Matter in as local interior consultant to restart a project that had stalled. Only three or four renderings of the original design existed. The team worked from those, designed the rooms they didn’t show, and produced a full interior and FF&E package for 10 penthouses, the residents’ lounge and the business centre.

Schools and data centres
In 2024-25 the studio began working in Saudi Arabia. Its first projects there were facades for two schools and two data centres.
